THE ORIGINAL WORK IS LABELLED MIXED MEDIA, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? ANY SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS?
MIXED MEDIA
It’s true. Most, if not all of the original work is considered mixed media. That just means a variety of mediums were used to create each piece. Acrylic paint and colored pencils are the two most often used as well as a few others. Almost all of the work is created on wood panels or found wood pieces.
SPECIAL CARE
All of the original work is created using quality materials, sprayed with an acrylic fixative, and coated with at least 3 coats of varnish to protect it from smudging, dust, and potential UV damage. That doesn’t mean that they are indestructible. It’s best to avoid direct sunlight for extended periods of time as well as hanging in places that have large shifts in temperature and moisture as this could potentially damage the wood. To clean, simply wipe it with a dry, soft cloth.
HOW DO I DISPLAY THE PRINT I JUST BOUGHT? DO YOU OFFER FRAMING OPTIONS?
All of the prints offered are set up to look great in any frame without a mat. Of course they can look just as great matted as well! The best way to get your new print on display quickly is by adding a frame directly from our shop. Minimalist wood frames are offered in various sizes with a few different stain options. Simply go to the frames section and add the size and color of your choice to your cart. A handful of pre-framed prints are usually offered at most in-person markets and events as well.
As with the original work, the prints are created using quality inks and paper, but it is still best to avoid moisture prone areas and hanging in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as this could potentially fade or damage the print of time.
DO YOU HAVE THIS PRINT IN A LARGER SIZE?
Yes! All of the prints offered are also available in either 16” x 20” or 18” x 24” and come hand signed on the front and stamped with the Aaron Joseph Studios logo on the back. These sizes are part of an open-ended collection and will NOT come numbered on the front. They are printed on a per order basis locally at PGH Print Ship. Pricing starts at $75 + shipping. Framing options are also available upon request. Turnaround time for these prints will be an additional 2-3 days based on how quickly they can be printed. The best way to grab one of these prints is by email.
DO YOU OFFER STUDIO PICKUPS OR LOCAL DELIVERIES?
Yes! And yes! Both studio pickups and local deliveries are available. Most items can be picked up in 1-2 days and original work/larger orders can be delivered in the Pittsburgh area, within reason. Simply choose studio pickup and leave a note during checkout if you’d like a local delivery. Delivery days will vary but that can be worked out. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out prior to purchasing.
Studio pickups and local deliveries are currently NOT available for APPAREL, POSTER PRINTS, and ORNAMENTS unless noted otherwise.

WHAT ARE YOUR ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT?
We currently accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Payment plans are also available through Affirm at checkout. Venmo and cash are also accepted at all in-person markets and events.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PRINT TYPES OFFERED?
GICLEE ART PRINTS
These prints are museum quality reproductions of original mixed media paintings. They are printed locally here in Pittsburgh at PGH Print Ship. Giclée prints are printed on archival Irish Linen paper using an inkjet printer and a fully array of archival pigment inks. They come hand signed on the front and stamped with the Aaron Joseph Studios logo on the back. Various sizes are available.
LIMITED EDITION DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION PRINTS
These prints are physical versions of digital illustrations. These small batch prints are printed in house on heavyweight Canson 300gsm cold pressed watercolor paper. Each print is hand cut by the artist and comes signed and numbered on the front with the Aaron Joseph Studios logo on the back. Various sizes are available. Once these sell out, they will not be printed again.
POSTER PRINTS
These prints are 16” x 20” prints that are printed on demand and shipped directly to you from a separate printing company. They are printed on heavyweight smooth stock with a matte finish. They do NOT come signed or numbered. These products are NOT available for studio pickups.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Currently, products are only available for domestic shipping. USPS is used for most orders. Very small orders like stickers and greeting cards ship using USPS stamps and don’t include tracking. Any order containing a print or original work ship USPS First Class with tracking. Most orders will ship in 1-2 days depending on the order. Custom larger prints will take an additional 2-3 days.
Apparel, poster prints, and ornaments are made on demand and ship separately from the print shop. Generally, the print shop will use USPS shipping with tracking as well. That info will be passed along once the order is processed and shipped. These products are NOT available for studio pickups.
